  • Recurrent epidemics like Dengue, covid , swineflu ,now post pandemic measles,chickenpox among those who missed vaccine during covid. etc.
  • Coexisting with epidemics is silent pandemic like Antimicrobial resistance, multidrug TB resistance.
  • Among noncommunicable diseases Sudden cardiac deaths among young,brain strokes.
  • Nutritional vitD deficiency,B12, Thiamine both cardiac, emcephalitic BeriBeri among breast fed babies exclusively from rural background.
  • Psychological disorders have increased post pandemic . EgDepression, Anxiety, suicidal tendencies, behaviour issues, No Gadget hygiene is to be tackled.
  • Drug addictions , alcohol abuse, premarital abortions andar many youngsters are getting admitted for deaddiction. Among them female number has drastically increased. Late presentation due to confidence on their children and social stigma people are reaching deaddiction centre late.
  • Increased Autism cases are challenge to families their late presentation to specialist is denying early intervention. Majority of children are from urban background. Reason s?? Environment, diet, medications?
  • Parenting has drastically changed two types Helicopter parenting, Bulldozer parenting. This is denying child an opportunity to develop cognition towards lifeskills inturn lack of emotional qoetient , lack of empathy to family,society increasing day to day problems in a family unit.
  • My concern is there is big role of Massive public education, timely intervention and guidance.
  • Further huge role for PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE.
  • Especially when a team of experts talk about it to media, to public through social media and influence policymakers decision. It will play huge difference.
  • Most importantly sharing difficult case scenario and feedback improvement by early diagnosis, promt treatment. Also guiding patients through expert team in need will be very professional.
